What's up, peeps! This week was so cool! I saw so many
miracles. Let's start on Tuesday soo; as some of you know, there have been some
hard stuff in my family, and it's rough because I can't be there to hug them
all at this time, which sucks. Still, on Monday, I got on my knees at every
opportunity and asked the lord to help me. Then Tuesday, everything I heard was
about how we can find peace in and with our savior Jesus Christ and that was
super cool because it answered my prayers and also helped me feel peace and
comfort for my family. And the miracles didn't stop there Tuesday. That was
probably the biggest thing and the coolest thing for me! The second happened
when we talked to a guy on Sunday during a general conference session. So the
story begins with us bringing this guy into our church building and showing him
around. We got to talking with him, and he's interested in our church's history
and how the church got started, so after we showed him the church and finished
talking to him, we sat down to listen to the conference and guess what the
first talk was about! It's about the pioneers and about joseph smith and the
book of Mormon, which are the two things the guy was wondering about! so that
was cool! Our last miracle happened this Saturday soo. Saturday, after we ate
lunch with a member, we begin our long walk back to our church to do studies.
As we were walking back it started to downpour on us, so we run to the nearest
house and knock on it. The girl opened up and said come in chicos, which means
kids or something, haha anyways, we started to talk to this lady, and guess
what stopped the rain, and guess who realized it? The lady did! So she points
it out and says wow, this was a miracle from god because I don't let Mormons in
my house. Still, for some reason, god needed me to talk to you guys, and we
were like, ya, he needed you to hear about this book we have, and we brought
out a book of Mormon! after that, she tried to convert us to her church, but i
mean hey a mirical is a miracle so I'll take it haha. Anyways we were going to
have another lesson with her. Still, I won't be here because, as you can see by
the title of this email, I am being transferred to Mar Del Plata, north
Argentina, which is the beach. Still, I can't go to the beach, which sucks
because it would be so much fun! Anyways, I don't have much else except for
some funny stories, so I guess I'll share those, haha!
The funny stories, so this one is on Facebook. As many of you know, as
missionaries, we do a lot of stuff on Facebook because it's easy to reach
people that way. Anyway, I am contacting people on Facebook, and I see this
dude Facundo he seems like a chill dude, so I start a convo, and the first
thing he tells man, you are a really pretty boy. Would you like to kiss me so I
reply with no thank you, but I would love to share a message with you? After a
while, I got another text from him, and he said, but you're so cute, and your
lips look good, so I just blocked the guy, and then that was that haha. So our
convo will be with the pictures this week, haha. My last funny story has to do
with videos I'll put in the email it's not a story as much as you just need to
watch the videos, haha. Also, yes, I cut my hair and its length in the back
because that's what they do in Argentina, so I will most likely get a buzz cut
and leave it because I'm not trying to impress girls or anything. If I were in
college, I would do it differently, but I am a missionary for the church, so I
don't care.
