Happy Birthday To Me!

While my man makes me a delicious birthday dinner and cake, I have a little computer time. I added the last month of Elder Mergenthaler's email to the blog and realized I haven't updated on what the rest of us have been doing. Well, mostly, I have been traveling and starting seminary and getting sick and traveling and getting sick simultaneously. It's been fun. Here are some pictures: Andrew brings in the coin at the drive-through. Gavin doing something that isn't on a screen. Went to a One Republic concert in Utah with Emily, Danny, and Kelly. Took some pics with Daniel in preparation for the Maine reunion. Shenanigans with Emily at Grandma's in Monticello. School started and I didn't take pictures, but Gavin's teacher did. "Self-care" in the hammock with a purring kitty. Danny and Kelly came to visit and we went to Hershey Park. Exploring the Scotia Barrens with Danny. These are near our house. IT IS P-DAY

September 26, 2022 What is up ya'll, Elder Mergenthaler here tapping in from Tandil Argentina! This week was a roller coaster. Monday, we had a regular day and did regular p-day stuff Tuesday. We contacted many people. Those two days were probably the least eventful. We went into their area and knocked on many doors, and then when someone didn't answer my companion and me for a day, Elder Centeno would say no Quiero salvation, which means I guess they didn't want salvation. After we contacted for a while, we went to a member's house and had some bomb freaking pizza with salsa and cheese. While eating, I was trying to listen in on the conversation, and ...

SPLITS!

September 19, 2022 Dang! It's Monday! This week was wild, for sure. It started normal, but then as we were walking and doing our normal stuff on p-day, we got a call from our district leader, and he said, guys, it turns out we are leaving for Bahia Blanca on Tuesday at 6:30 in the nighttime. So after we get off this call, my companion and I are kind of mad because we were going to have a cool lesson with a couple of people on Thursday and Wednesday, and we can't, but then we realize that this could be a good thing! Because it could mean that we are getting trained for something. It turns out it was just for splits, but they were fun and interesting. The only part that sucked is that we got there at two in the morning and then didn't sleep till three that day, but that's ok because I got to take selfies of my companion knocked out on the bus, so I think it was worth it, haha. Now time for the funny stories. As a missionary, every day is fun because we bump into so man...
