Rick and I have been in Paris. I'm worried I won't have time to post much about it. But since I'm up at 2:30 am on a Saturday night in Paris because I'm having a hard time adjusting to the 7 hour time difference, I can at least upload some pictures. There are a lot of funny stories that I could tell about our adventures with the witty details that I know you all love to read. Someday---
For now, here's the first few days with short descriptions:
Grand palace?? I still haven't verified this. It's a fancy building that we happened upon on our first afternoon walking around when we were completely lost and didn't know how to use the metro.
Eiffel Tower, of course:
Good food from a bakery. I don't know any of the French names of these items. So I will call them, les delicious.
Top of Eiffel
Eiffel at night. Because even though we expected to have moved on from this particular site, we were still lost and trying to find our way to the metro at 9:30 pm.
Inside the Louvre. I loved the architecture more than the art.
View from top of Arc de Triomphe
Oops back to Louvre. That's my friend, Mona in the background.
These are the spiral stairs we climbed to get to the top of the Arc de Triomphe.
Dressed up for what we thought would be a fancy dinner which was actually very casual. But we looked good.
That's it for now. My phone batter needs juice.
