Zuster Mergenthaler is in Curacao!

From the wife of the mission president:

Just a quick note to let you know that your missionaries have arrived safely in Curacao. They will be spending two nights in the mission home with an orientation tomorrow as well as a hike in the morning. On Thursday they will head off to their assigned areas in Suriname. We appreciate your willingness to share them with us and the wonderful people of this mission. You are blessed to have a wonderful Senior Couple in Suriname that take great care of our missionaries there and we will be visiting them every 6 weeks. The Vermeerens have a wonderful blog that Sister Vermeeren posts on a daily basis so you can get glimpses of your missionaries in action!

Gavin in a Million Words or Less

Way back when Emily was in 6th grade, her teacher, Ms. Grey, asked parents to write about thier children in a million words or less. I posted what I wrote about Emily on our blog. I wish I were more organized and tech-savvy to find the link to that post and put it here, but I'm not. It's a nice idea that maybe I'll do later.
