Man, I Love This

Hello one hello all! It was another great week as a missionary in Suriname. Man, I love this. Sometimes I'm biking to the next appointment and I just can't stop smiling. This is true joy right here--it comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Some things that happened this week....
-They are taking my trainer away from me! Zuster Woolsey is going to Bonaire this next transfer. I'm really sad. I love Zuster Woolsey so much. It's gonna take me a while to forgive President for that one, but she's gonna do great things in Bonaire and I have 6 people to baptize here before I leave!
-I got trapped in the bathroom at Zone Conference for an hour. There was no windows and the lock broke. I made friends with the random lizard in there and named it Pablo. I'm super grateful for the Elders and President Baird who finally just took the door off haha. Also glad I'm not claustrophobic.
-I broke the garage door controller because I got a mix of sprinkles and water in it (don't ask how that happened), so we have been timing how fast it takes to unlock our two doors and open it from the inside. I got down to 25 seconds. If that's not using the Lord's time to the best of our ability, I don't know what is!

Some of my favorite quotes this week:
"If we love Jesus, we always have company." --Br. Simon
"I thought they were gonna baptize me right there! I was ready." --Richard, our investigator, talking about his first experience at church. Just so ya'll know, we don't baptize without permission haha.
"I know it's true. I feel really good." --Flavia, another investigator. Made my heart burst. I love her so much. Seeing the gospel light up people's lives is just the best.
"Come give me a belly hug." --Zuster Woolsey.

I know this gospel is true. The Lord is in the details of our lives. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to be in Suriname helping these awesome people come unto Christ.
I love you all!
