The Three Amigos

From our missionary:

This week was amaaaaaazing. Some stuff....

--Pablo got baptized!!!!!! Nuff said. I can't wait to take him to lessons with us and hear him bear his sweet testimony. He was so cute coming out of the water with Br. Statie on his left and Vaquero on his right holding him up. My favorite part was looking at him sit down after receiving the Holy Ghost. His eyes were really wide and he had this grin on his face. You just knew that guy was feeling the Spirit really strongly.
--met Aquiles' cutie of a daughter. She looks and acts nothing like him! She's very quiet while he is very loud. It was fun to watch them interact though because you can see how much they love hanging out with each other. 
--Zr. T almost punched some guy out when he yelled at us for a solid 15 minutes about how we'd make a better use of our time being women who party and drink than talking to people about God. I felt very uncomfortable. Man, I wish he understood how important this is! Someday he'll get it hopefully.
--picked up a lot of dog poop for service. I found joy by singing hymns really loud with Zr. T. She is literally so much fun and I love her. She's one of those you can joke around with and still get the work done and it's the best. And if you're wondering, our best one is "Onward, Christian Soldiers", but we take requests.
--missed lunch hour twice because we were so busy. It made me appreciate that lunch nap way more.
--showed the video "Broken Vessel" to all of our investigators because wowza guys it's so good. 10/10 would recommend stop reading this email and go watch it. 

I don't have any more time, but I love you guys! Something I've been doing this week is writing down little miracles that happen every day. I've really been in awe about how much Heavenly Father is involved in our lives. He loves us and is with us every step of the day. I hope ya'll have a great week!

Gavin in a Million Words or Less

 Way back when Emily was in 6th grade, her teacher, Ms. Grey, asked parents to write about thier children in a million words or less. I posted what I wrote about Emily on our blog. I wish I were more organized and tech-savvy to find the link to that post and put it here, but I'm not. It's a nice idea that maybe I'll do later. Anyway, you get to read what I wrote to Gavin's fifth grade teacher who made the same requests of parents: Gavin is the youngest of seven children. His three oldest siblings have flown the nest, so he talks to them on the phone and looks forward to holiday visits. This summer, his oldest sister had a baby, so he’s an Uncle! He has three older brothers, who sometimes make life tricky for him, but are also sources of wisdom, rides to the store to get candy, and annoying TikTok phrases.
