Pumpkins and Spiders at Preschool

Even though the actual day of Halloween didn't turn out great, we did have a few fun weeks before Halloween--especially for Ricky and Andrew.

The week before Halloween, I taught a unit on spiders. The four boys in our class (five if you count Andrew) loved it--I was a little grossed out.


The Wednesday before Halloween, we went to a farm to get pumpkins. Andrew loved seeing the cows and chickens. He mooed at the cows for about 20 minutes.




All Ricky cared about was getting his pumpkins. Once he had chosen pumpkins for all the kids in our family, he was ready to go home. He didn't really care about seeing the animals or going through the corn maze. He just wanted to take his pumpkin and run.

I hope everyone is getting better. the kids looked cute in their costumes. It is fun to see pictures of everyone.

Sounds like you at least had a few good moments of Halloween..sorry you were sick...at least it kept you from eating all the kids candy eh?

Gavin in a Million Words or Less

 Way back when Emily was in 6th grade, her teacher, Ms. Grey, asked parents to write about thier children in a million words or less. I posted what I wrote about Emily on our blog. I wish I were more organized and tech-savvy to find the link to that post and put it here, but I'm not. It's a nice idea that maybe I'll do later.
