Moo Moo For Me, Moo Moo For You

I was diligently cutting out coupons this morning when I came across this hilarious ad:What a deal! I can have a couple of these lovely "loungers" for only $22! In fact, I can save a couple of bucks if I double my order!! And look at all the colors there are to choose from!

Before I order, I'm going to let all my moo-moo-wearing friends in on the deal. The more we buy, the more we save; and we have the benefit of saving on shipping charges. Anybody in?

On a more serious note, this ad brought to my recollection a happy childhood memory: My mom is in the kitchen making pancakes on a Saturday morning. Guess what she is wearing with her light blue bathrobe?

Sign me up for that deal! We could wear them to the family reunion next year. Think of the fu nwe could have twinners dressed in our moo moos. I think we should do it and then act completely serious like we think it is really cool. If anybody could pull it off it would be the two of us. I miss you guys. Love ya.

Gavin in a Million Words or Less

 Way back when Emily was in 6th grade, her teacher, Ms. Grey, asked parents to write about thier children in a million words or less. I posted what I wrote about Emily on our blog. I wish I were more organized and tech-savvy to find the link to that post and put it here, but I'm not. It's a nice idea that maybe I'll do later. Anyway, you get to read what I wrote to Gavin's fifth grade teacher who made the same requests of parents: Gavin is the youngest of seven children. His three oldest siblings have flown the nest, so he talks to them on the phone and looks forward to holiday visits. This summer, his oldest sister had a baby, so he’s an Uncle!
