Hola todos! Como están?? Espero que estén bien!! Pero bueno
this week for me and Espinosa was good and hard, but overall amazing.
Tuesday was ice cold which meant nobody wanted to listen. I
mean literally nobody. We talked to as many people as we could, but they always
responded with "I'm Catholic," or "I don't want to hear
more,"or "Y'all are crazy! It's cold." We had one lesson
that probably went too long with one of our friends, and he played the guitar
for us, so I was happy hahaha.
On Wednesday, the rejections continued, but in the evening
we had a lesson with this inactive family and their kids that aren't
baptized. We ask the dad how he feels about the temple, and he starts talking,
and I'm hoping that he'll give us a nice warm answer, but he doesn't. It was
kind of a long lesson. At the end we asked about baptism dates and they agree.
Then my comp asks the dad, "Will you be prepared to
baptize your kids by this date?!" We sit and wait, and the dad didn't
give us a yes or a no. He talks about getting his life in line, so that's a yes
for me. It's my turn to talk, and I have no clue why I said this--I just felt I
needed to say it--but what I said was, "I will see you guys with my family
in the heavens next to me." Let me tell you, the Spirit I felt when I said
those last words was crazy 🤪!!
Something weird happened this week when we were
contacting--we knock on the door, a dog barks, so we start reciting the story
of the Restoration and the dog calms down. We knock again and this time we hear
this guy yell from inside his house, I BELIEVE IN THE DEVIL 😈 Well
we put a note in our books after that, DON'T GO VISIT.
Another cool experience--when I was on divisions, we were
teaching our friend who's a police guy. As we taught about Jesus Christ's
sacrifice for us, the Spirit was really strong. I could tell that our friend
knew what we were testifying about was true. At the same time, my own
testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ was confirmed. It's real! I hope you
know that I know that this church is true. It is directed by prophets who
are called of God and it has been restored for the last time here to the
earth!!
