Hey what is up my beautiful people!! Y'all are probably chilling in snow with hot chocolate which seems nice right now just because it's like the devil's oven down here! Once you step out of your apartment, it's like you've stepped out of the shower because it's so humid and gross, but we do the Lord's work anyway.
So, do you want to know about the title of this email? In the beginning of the week, it was so hard to find people because literally everyone was at the beach. We were walking along the street with our vianda (aka bag lunch) from that day regretting that we didn't bring water with us when this taxi dude pulls up. The dude is like, "Get in!" We're like, "OK, why not? It's hot as Satan's house outside, and this guy has an air-conditioned car." The guy asks, "Where are you headed?" We tell him our address, and he takes us there. We get ready to pay and the guy goes "Naw, Man. It's on me because you guys changed my mom's life forever." We're like, "Ohh sick." I mean, I think the whole changed-his-mom's-life was some other elders, but I was glad they left a good impression so we could get a nice air-conditioned ride.
Here's another HUGE MIRACLE from this week. Right after church, one of our members calls out, "Elder." I'm like, "Ya, what's up?" She's like, "My daughter, who's been thinking about baptism, wants to be baptized!!" And I'm like, "OK, what day?" She tells me she they're going to talk to Bishop about it, but that's not all! So we're just sitting in our house after we put a fantom baptism date on our calendar and we get a text telling us the dad of the family also wants to get baptized and he wants to do it before his daughter so he can baptize her. So we have a baptism this Saturday so that next week our friend can baptize his daughter!! Anways that happened and literally after that me and my comp were screaming for literally like a solid 15 minutes because our friend has told us over and over no because he's been baptized already but I guess now he's changed!! So ya
So, that's a couple of miracles from this week. I could have made it so much longer but I have kids who read these, and I don't want you to get bored!
