GOD IS GOOD EVERY DAY

February 13, 2023

Hey, what's up, You guys in the states!?! This week, my companion and I felt a little lazy, but at the same time, we also worked our butts off. I don't know--it's a weird mix!

Transfers have ended, so that means everyone changes, but guess what!?! FOR THE FIRST TIME, I DON'T!! My comp and I stay the same, so that's really exciting because we just get to keep pushing the work in this area forward! Also, we had a BAPTISM this week. It was a really powerful experience for me because it's evidence that we can keep the work moving forward. If a Jehovah's Witness can get baptized, anyone can!!

The title of this email is because I have been reflecting on this last transfer (6 weeks). At the start, I felt lonely and unsuccessful. We didn't know the language that well. The area is hard because it's the beach, and we can't even really go to the beach. We didn't know how to contact people or who to talk to. And then my companion gave me a blessing. I started to feel more confident and safe. And starting from that afternoon and every day since, God put people and miracles in our path that helped us come out with a baptism!! Without that confidence and faith to get out and do the work or walk the path, we couldn't run into the miracles. We put in our work first!! And now we get to reap what we sowed this next transfer, so I'm so excited, and it starts off with another baptism of this little girl who is literally an Argentine Brooklyn (my little sister and my only Disney fan alongside Gavin and me, haha).

Oh ya, one last experience that happened is I confirmed our new member after her baptism for the first time in Spanish. I was so nervous, but if I'm here writing this email to you, you know I survived. Actually, let me tell you, it was the coolest thing because I got to use my priesthood to help one of God's daughters come back to Him, so that was so cool. If you have the opportunity to serve like that, I recommend it 100% because it'll change you. I'm grateful for the opportunities God gives me to serve. Thinking about the power of the priesthood got me so excited to someday have my own family, hahaha. Because what better way to serve? idk literally everything I do here on the mission gets me excited for that but that's not important lol 😅

Anyway, I love you all so much, and I'm praying for you guys!! BTW if any of you have advice on BYU I or BYU Provo, I'm open to hearing it because sometimes college is on my mind.

Big hug, little kiss, big hug, little kiss (Nacho Libre for those uncultured swine)
